Add:
(spellchecked - sorry for the previous)I wonder - because of my own reaction to the show, I think is not widely shared - can someone prove to me how I am screwed up or is it just the world I am living in?)

I don't know what is more terrifying, the show itself or the fact that right now, it is popular, even extremely popular,
A show about people , I know it's fantasy people, being mind-wiped and used for sex and programmed to do push ups to stay healthy , whatever... no matter how it's dressed up, any human being with a capacity to feel cannot avoid understanding it is about debasing human beings.
Has this become the accepted norm of modern society? I 'm afraid that it seems quite so.. a world view predicated on the unfeeling manipulation of others as objects. No that is not in the show, that is the unconscious and unaware world view of the fantasy.
It's akin to the fantasy of a child rapist. I wonder , does the show itself inoculate the TV masses from feeling and having emotions about their fellow humans or have they already become totally distanced and unreal about human emotions?
Yet you call the script "fabulous" is like a slave owner admiring the efficiency of another's owner's whip design...
I can't watch it for very long without being absolutely revolted and the worrisome thing is that I think very few others feel such as I do. I can't identify at all with any protagonists or characters or care whatever they are trying to do. I mean for pity's sake every last person involved is committing crimes against the human race. I can't argue with what people like, but I can speculate on why people like what they do. I can just conclude this it's a suitable fantasy for unfeeling control freaks of for a population that actually has been mind-wiped into dollhood.

It's akin to the fantasy of a child rapist. Iwoder , does the show itself innoculate theTV masses from feeling and having emotions about their fellow humans or have they already become totally distanced and unreal about human emotions?
